Defense Minister Israel Katz warns Tehran that any attack will risk devastating strikes on Iran’s military, civilian and energy infrastructure.

Defense Minister Israel Katz on Thursday issued a stark warning to the regime in Tehran, warning against any attempt to attack Israel.

Speaking at a Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year) toast at the Defense Ministry, Katz stressed, “An Iranian attack on Israel will free Israel from all existing constraints regarding strikes on Iran.”

“We will strike all of Iran’s national, military, and civilian infrastructure – including its energy infrastructure – and send Iran back deep into the Stone Age and darkness.”

He added, “The Ayatollah regime in Iran knows very well why it is not attacking Israel, after we struck them powerfully twice, destroyed the nuclear program, eliminated [late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali] Khamenei, and severely damaged their strategic capabilities.”

Katz also warned that Israel’s security establishment has identified developments that could influence the Iranian regime’s actions, adding, “There are signs we are seeing that indicate that the severe economic pressure Iran is under, along with fears of an uprising and the collapse of the regime, could push them to desperate measures.”
