Six earthquakes were recorded at the Mount Adams volcano in September — a significant increase on the normal rate of one every two to three years. Scientists have recorded a significant uptick in earthquakes at the Mount Adams volcano — the largest active volcano in Washington state.

Six earthquakes hit the “high threat” volcano in September, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), which is a drastic increase from the normal rate of one earthquake at the volcano every two to three years.

This is the largest number of earthquakes recorded at Mount Adams in a single month since records began in 1982. The earthquakes ranged from magnitudes 0.9 to 2 and were recorded via a single seismic station 7 miles (11 kilometers) southwest of Mount Adams’ summit. None of the ground shakes were felt at the surface. According to experts, these earthquakes do not mean an eruption is imminent. “Currently, there is no indication that the level of earthquake activity is cause for concern,” USGS representatives wrote in a statement.

Efforts are underway to better understand what’s happening beneath the volcano. Scientists with the Cascades Volcano Observatory (CVO) and Pacific Northwest Seismic Network (PNSN) will install a set of temporary seismic stations in the area to get a better understanding of the size, location and depth of the seismic activity, according to the statement.

Mount Adams towers more than 12,000 feet (3,660 meters) above Earth’s surface and stretches 18 miles (29 km) across, making it one of the largest peaks in the Cascades mountain range. It sits around 70 miles (110 km) northwest of Portland.

I recently had a dream about what I think might be an earthquake. The dream was on May 2nd. My husband and oldest daughter and her children were in the dream. In it we were in what seemed to be a lodging of some kind. Like an AirB&B because it looked like a house/cabin. This place was at the foot of a very tall mountain. As we are in the LR I begin to see what looked like white boulders falling from the top of that mountain. Followed by trees falling and one that fell right in front of the wrapped around window where I was standing. I told my daughter we need to get out of there and I pick up my grandchildren, one in each arm. Next scene I am opening a door purposed to stand in the small balcony but it was separating from the wall and the floor was breaking. There was damage in it from whatever was causing the trees and boulders to fall. Everything around was crumbling and I went inside where I joined my family as we gathered by the foot of some stairs and my husband talking to the children. The dream ended. I woke up thinking it may be an earthquake and the dream may be a warning from the Lord. Then, on June 30th, after my husband went to bed around 10pm, I stayed up to read the Bible and do some research for another warning dream I had involving my 4 yr old grandson. As I am researching the internet I came across an article this week speaking about scientists being concerned about the massive potential destruction that will take place if volcano Mt. Ranier in Washington State, was to erupt. They think if it erupts it will be worse than what happened in Colombia when Nevada Del Ruiz erupted killing more than 23,000 people. As soon as I saw that I had a very strong uneasy feeling. I began to research Mt. Ranier pictures and found one that made my heart sank and I began to feel very sick and shaken because it is the closest image to what I saw in my dream. Except that in my dream the house was at the foot of the mountain and I had to look up to be able to see the top of it. I began to cry as I looked at that picture. I was feeling very weak from being so shaken and I began to say my God my God my God. I began to pray, to ask for forgiveness for our sins to ask God for mercy. I continued to say my God my God my God. The the Lord began to speak. Here is the Word that the Lord gave me last night at approximately 11:40 last night. “Should I bring the pains and not cause it to birth. Should I bring the pains and not cause it to come to pass? My people perish for lack of knowledge. Surround yourself with the Army of God for I will bring to the battle the strong and the mighty. Be vigilant. Be sober. Understand what I say lest a worse thing comes upon the children of disobedience. Purify yourselves. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, but the wicked will be destroyed in a matters time. – then there is a pause. I once again begin to cry, pray and say my God my God My God. Then the Lord says: “Now you are listening. Now it will be given to you with understanding. Thus says The Lord: You seek through the dark but you can’t find. The enemy wants my people but I contemplate their works that they are futile for they have not cleaned themselves nor surrendered to Me fully. I show them my signs and wonders but they do not believe. They ignore. Purify yourselves you double minded. I am the Light in the midst of darkness. Return to me says The Lord. This, is a call to repentance.” 11:57pm / At this point the weakness in my body feels so ‘heavy’. I believe what I received was a two part word: one a warning of a possible disaster, a shaking from The Lord to awaken the nation and the second one a call to repentance to the church. Please pray for the bride of Christ, the church, to humble herself and to choose today whom she will serve! And pray for our nation, that America will humble herself and pray and seek God and turn from her wicked ways so that He will heal our land and be our God!
