Former President Donald Trump on Thursday spoke out about the war between Israel and Hamas, suggesting that the best way to go about dealing with it would be to let it “play out.”
“You have a war that’s going on and you’re probably going to have to let this play out,” Trump told Univision’s Enrique Acevedo. “You’re probably going to have to let it play out because a lot of people are dying. It should have never started.”

The former president also accused Iran of leading and funding the war — “They’re very tricky, very smart, very cunning” — and nodded to the possibility that a deal between Israel and Palestine could never be reached due to the history of “hatred” that “is so incredible.”
“There is no hatred like the Palestinian hatred of Israel and Jewish people. And probably the other way around also,” Trump said. ” So sometimes you have to let things play out and you have to see where it ends.”
