Fears are growing that hospitals across the Channel will need to ready themselves for an influx of wounded soldiers from across the continent by next spring at the latest
Hospitals across France have been ordered to prepare for war amid growing fears of a full-blown military clash in Europe – as Germany raises the alarm over Mad Vlad’s next move.
In chilling new documents revealed by French newspaper Le Canard Enchaîné, the French Ministry of Health told medical facilities to get ready for a “major engagement” by March 2026, with expectations of waves of injured troops flooding in from across the continent.
The grim warning lays out a wartime scenario in which France becomes a hub for treating mass casualties, not just from its own forces but from other European allies too.
The directive urges hospitals to “anticipate, prepare and respond” to the potentially huge number of injured — including military patients needing urgent care in civilian hospitals.
Officials say it’s vital to merge “defense needs” into everyday health planning.
