The world has been teetering on the edge of World War Three for some time now, and these fears aren’t helped when war-mongering top generals advocate for a Russian military presence in the Middle East
Vladimir Putin’s cronies are clamouring for World War Three, urging the Russian despot to “mobilise” troops in the Middle East.
Top Kremlin general Apti Alaudinov has reportedly asked for one million Russian troops to attend the Israel-Iran conflict. It comes after Israel struck at least six military bases around the Iranian capital, alongside the residential homes of military commanders.
Officials in Iran, historically Russia’s ally, say the attacks by Israel were targeted assassinations. Taking to Telegram, Alaudinov said: “We need to declare mobilisation. We need to prepare at least half a million people in advance. But realistically one million people.
“We need to call them up and start preparing them for the fact that the war has already begun, which we already know is happening – World War III.”
The comments come as former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev urged his country to fight against NATO, against what he termed “Western aggression” from US President Donald Trump.
