The world is in the middle of a series of significant celestial events that could portend a message about Israel, and with the Jewish state’s intense new military campaign to end the Iranian nuclear threat, the message appears to be getting clearer.
Near the beginning of 2025, skywatchers had a chance to see a “blood moon,” landing right on the Jewish holy day of Purim. It was visible across the U.S. for about an hour, and parts of Latin America, Africa, and Europe also caught a glimpse of the phenomenon.
That lunar eclipse was the first in a series of remarkable heavenly signs that will be on display in the coming months that could hold prophetic significance. This series of four heavenly phenomena starts with three lunar events, two of which could represent a direct message about Israel, capped off by a major solar event.
It all kicked off with that total lunar eclipse known as a “blood moon” that primarily appeared over the U.S. on March 14, 2025. This first eclipse fell directly on the day of Purim, when the Jewish people celebrate the biblical account of Esther, in which they were delivered from annihilation at the hands of an enemy named Haman in the Persian Empire, which is modern-day Iran.
That first lunar eclipse will be followed by two more blood moons, with one coming this fall in 2025 before Rosh Hashanah, and then the third one ALSO falling directly on Purim on March 3, 2026.
Bible prophecy experts say lunar eclipses, known as “blood moons,” are tied to events that affect Israel. And with antisemitism spiking around the globe, the ongoing chaos with Hamas in Gaza, the crippling of Hezbollah in Lebanon, the regime change in Syria, and the general massive Middle East shift that has followed the October 7 massacre in Israel, the two Purim blood moons come during a pivotal, historic time.
Now, just as CBN News forewarned in early 2025, Israel has taken historic action, moving decisively in June to neutralize the existential threat posed by the Iranian regime in Tehran. Israel felt compelled to act swiftly as rumors abounded that Iran was close to completing a nuclear weapon that could be deployed to achieve Iran’s stated goal of annihilating the Jewish state.
