History experts have discovered a shocking find in a mud mound, with they believe could have origins in Noah’s Ark, with rooms and corridors found in the structure

Researchers who believe they may have found Noah’s Ark have identified possible rooms and corridors in the structure.

The Noah’s Ark Scans project announced new findings Monday (19 May) concerning the potentially biblical man-made structure beneath a remote, boat-shaped mound in Turkey. The team, in collaboration with Turkish and American researchers, have released “groundbreaking findings” from recent soil testing and a re-analysis of 2019 ground-penetrating radar (GPR) scans of the Durupinar formation, located 29 kilometres south of Mount Arara.

They said: “These results provide compelling evidence of a unique, potentially man-made structure beneath the surface, distinct from the surrounding mudflow.”

New soil samples collected from the Durupinar site in September 2024 and analysed in December 2024 show significantly higher levels of organic matter and potassium compared to surrounding areas. The researchers say these findings suggest the presence of decayed wood or other organic materials, consistent with a large, ancient structure preserved within the mudflow.

William Crabtree, the lead soil scientist on the project, noted in a recent interview, “The soil composition is markedly different from the natural mudflow, indicating something extraordinary at this site.”

“This anomaly strengthens the hypothesis that the formation is not merely a natural geological feature but may contain remnants of a constructed object,” said Monday’s statement.

The Noah’s Ark Scans project said: “A meticulous re-examination of 3D GPR scans conducted in 2019, using advanced imaging software, has revealed striking subsurface features.

“The scans show a 234-foot central corridor and angular structures-potentially rooms or corridors-extending up to 20 feet deep. These right-angled formations, uncommon in natural geological processes, suggest intentional design.”

Andrew Jones, the lead researcher involved in the project. said: “The re-analysis confirms what we suspected: these are not random shapes in the mudflow. The presence of hallways and room-like structures points to a man-made origin for the boat shape.”

Noah’s Ark, according to the biblical book of Genesis, was a large ship that God instructed Noah to build in order to save himself, his family, and pairs of every kind of animal from a global flood sent to destroy all life on earth.

Turkey is known for its vast number of historical sites. Currently, the country boasts 21 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Additionally, there are 80 sites on the tentative list, meaning they are being considered for future inclusion on the official list.
