How Jared Kushner praised Gaza’s ‘very valuable waterfront property’ a year before Donald Trump’s bold plan to turn region into Middle East ‘Riviera’ ‘If you think about all the money that’s gone into this tunnel network and into all the munitions, if that would have gone into education or innovation, what could have been done?’

Kushner’s interview has resurfaced after President Trump on Tuesday outlined a new plan for the Middle East in which the US takes over the Gaza strip while its Palestinian population is moved to neighboring countries.

Trump, a property developer who sees the world in terms of deals, has long talked up Gaza’s coastal location and pleasant climate as a perfect holiday vacation.

The President’s jaw-dropping declaration during the joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House on Tuesday left Democrats stunned and outraged.
