Israel Air Force fighter jets struck a Hezbollah military base where terrorists were located and operating on Tuesday in the area of the Yaroun village in Lebanon, the IDF said in the early hours of Wednesday.
In addition, the fighter jets also struck a Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure site in the area of Kfarkela in southern Lebanon. On Tuesday,19 Israelis were wounded by Hezbollah’s drone attacks, according to the Galilee Medical Center in Safed.

Furthermore, Hezbollah launched around 30 rockets into northern Israel on the same day, with portions toward the Golan and portions toward the Galilee.
Although the IDF intercepted some drones and rockets, other drones penetrated the IDF’s defense shield, striking south of Nahariya and wounding many civilians, the IDF said. The strikes come as tension remains high between Israel and Lebanon’s Hezbollah after Israel killed Hezbollah’s military commander, Fuad Shukr.
Israel’s strike on Shukr came following a Hezbollah rocket launch, which resulted in the deaths of 12 children from the Druze town of Majdal Shams.
