THE honeymoon phase for Kamala Harris appears to be over as voters are quickly losing faith in the vice president’s chances of beating Donald Trump in the upcoming presidential election.
Nearly a third of voters believe Harris is much less qualified than other potential nominees to be the Democratic presidential candidate, according to new polling by The U.S. Sun.

The U.S. Sun’s survey of 1,000 people, conducted by Talker Research, revealed that only a quarter of Americans feel that Harris is much more qualified than other candidates to be the party nominee.
While 29% of the surveyed group believe that she’s “much less qualified,” feelings were split across party lines as only 15% of Republicans believe that Harris is more qualified to be the candidate compared to other potential nominees.
However, no other Democratic party candidates have stepped forward to challenge Harris’ bid.
Twenty-eight percent of respondents think it’s very unlikely that Harris can beat out former President Trump, while only 26% think that she is very likely to overtake him.
