“Mom, what do you mean by ‘possessions’? I was at a Bible-based church with some other students for a midweek service when one of the substitute youth leaders asked me what I preferred. It was shocking to think that a church that prides itself on being Bible-based and Jesus-loving was just one volunteer away from teaching their students radical gender theories.
That’s why, as Christian parents, we need to be vigilant in teaching and protecting our kids in a world that has lost its sense of morality. But this isn’t a cry for fear – it’s a cry for action! Jesus is on the throne and God is in control.
That should make any parent feel hopeful! Fortunately, we have lots of guidance from God’s Word on how to teach our kids how to think clearly, interact with their culture, and be strong in Christ.
