This month, the Pew Research Center released some survey results that show the American family has changed a lot in recent years.
There’s no one dominant form of family anymore, and people are living their lives in different ways. Experts think this shift in family life is linked to a decline in Christianity in the US.
For example, the percentage of married parents with kids living together has gone down from 67% in 1970 to 37% today. It looks like a lot of this is because unmarried adults are living together. Communio also did a survey and found that the decline in Christianity is linked to a collapse of marriage and fatherhood.
