This comes after Erdogan and Netanyahu met in New York last week and agreed to plan a visit together soon, according to Netanyahu’s office.
Turkey’s President Erdogan is hoping to visit Israel soon to pray at the Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, according to Channel 12 news. The prayer will be held to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the country on October 29th, 1923.
Last week, Erdogan met with the leaders of both countries to discuss the state of relations between the two countries. He also encouraged them to work together in areas like tech, innovation, AI, and cybersecurity.
The foreign minister, intelligence chief, and other officials were also at the meeting. Erdogan posted pictures of the meeting on Twitter, saying he hoped that the talks would be beneficial for both countries and the world.
